Life is Good

I wanted to take this time to recap some of the things that have been going on in my life that may not have been reflected in any of my previous posts. As many of you already know, I’ve recently moved into an apartment in Marysville, Ohio That has been a great thing. I finally have my own domicile (shared with my girlfriend of course) which has everything I could want at this time. I finally have an HDTV, HD Cable, 5Mbit Cable, and all of the nerdy things that go along with it.

I also have received word that my company lease vehicle will roll off the assembly line between 6/28/2005 – 7/2/2005. I can’t wait for my fully loaded Accord to show up. The deal Honda R&D Americas Inc. provides for you is unbelievable. My insurance and maintenance is all included in the bi-weekly payroll deduction, which is awesome compared to having a car payment and an insurance payment every month.

I recently got a new neighbor at the apartment as well. Danny moved into the unit right next to mine, and all I can say is it’s going to be a blast! We just got him moved in over the weekend, and he’s finally starting to get unpacked and settled in. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

I’m starting to look forward to my options over the Christmas Shutdown here. I’m thinking about taking a weeks vacation, either before or after the week long shutdown, and possibly heading to Las Vegas or Florida. Time will tell on this, as it’s still quite a ways off. I’d also love to head to Cancun next spring, so maybe I’ll save up my vacation for that

And finally, for all you Techies out there, I wanted to give a quick plug for TWIT, or This Week in Tech. Those of you who watched TechTV (now G4TV) you’ll recognize a lot of the old screen saver crew (Leo Laporte, Patrick Norton, Yoshi, Kevin, Etc.). This is a great PodCast for those of you out there who are into things in the Tech World. It’s basically a talk radio show that is posted about once a week, and I love it. Check it out at TWIT.
