It’s Official, We’re Engaged!
July 28, 2006 on 9:32 pm | In General | No CommentsJust wanted to post up a picture of us after Tera said she would marry me! Notice the Bling Bling on the left hand
Now we just have to figure out when we want to make it legal. So much to do, so little time.
The Bike is Sold!
July 24, 2006 on 9:45 pm | In General | No CommentsJust wanted to shoot a quick post to let everyone know that I sold my bike today. I was able to get what I wanted out of it, and should be able to make some sweeping changes the next few weeks. More to come soon!

An Example of a Good Time
July 23, 2006 on 12:23 pm | In General | No CommentsI was going through tagging some of my photos, and thought I’d post this one up. We had a cookout at our house over the long 4th of July weekend, and had the guys over. For some reason, we let the girls pose us and take tons of pictures, and this was one of the ones we got. Enjoy ![]()
Time for an Update
July 17, 2006 on 10:26 am | In General | No CommentsThe biggest question is where to start. Things have been so busy lately. We’re finally settled into the new house and that feels great. We had a cookout over the Fourth of July weekend, and that was very nice. Rodney and Erica came up for their wedding reception, and we were able to squeeze in quite a bit of fun time with them, so that was great. You can find pictures from both their wedding and their reception on my Flickr site.
Speaking of pictures, Tera and I decided to enter some pictures into the open class of the Logan County Fair. The judging was this morning, but I haven’t heard how we did yet. We’ll probably head up to the fair and check them out later this week. I’ll get the pictures we entered up on Flickr tonight. If the response is adequate, we may decide to start doing a little photography on the side. That will be fun if we end up doing that.
Finally, in the world of Flickr, I created a group on Flickr for the group of people from Bellefontaine that I still stay in touch with. If you’re interested in checking it out, or joining, let me know. I’ll get a link up to it later tonight, as websense blocks it at work.
I’ve finally put the bike up for sale. After many months (and even years) of talking about
it, I finally parked it out front of the house on Saturday with a for sale sign on it. I had one person stop yesterday and he seemed pretty interested, but we’ll see. Hopefully I can get that thing sold soon, as soon there will be a little one added to the household!
August 1st, we get the ultrasound done that will tell us whether we are having a boy or a girl. I’m definitely pulling for a boy (Tera has two girls) but I’m sure I will love either on just as much! I guess I want a boy so much so I can try to be as good a father as my dad was to me. Things like playing baseball in the yard with my dad were a big part of my childhood.
Work’s going pretty good, although Morale has been slightly low around the office as of late. Hopefully we’re just on a down swing and will soon swing back up. Time will tell, but this week has been good so far (4 hours into it at least
).
My old friend Don is getting married later this month, and we’ll probably be heading up to that wedding. That will be cool, especially since I haven’ seen him in a few years.
I guess that’s about all that I can think of at this point to post about, so I’ll come back when I have more to say
Until next time.
Verizon very upset with a “Minutes Used” Firefox Extension
July 14, 2006 on 2:02 pm | In Digg | No CommentsI tried this out and it’s very handy for Verizon users. Check it out if you use Firefox and like pissing Verizon off
Author states that the “the reason it disappeared from Mozilla’s site is because Verizon complained about the extension and we are trying to sort it out.” Verizon essentially doesn’t want it “too” easy for customers to check their minutes as it could pre-warn users with “yellow” color code that have only 60 minutes left on monthly plan
