Remember how hard we campaigned for Chester Taylor? Looks like maybe we weren’t too far off

Moving Right Along
October 13, 2006 on 2:49 pm | In General | No CommentsMan, things have been so busy lately. Work has been really busy this week, although it’s definitely slowed down today. Maybe that’s just because it’s Friday, and I’m hankerin’ to hit the door, but it sure does seem to be dragging (hence the time for an update).
Anyway, things are moving right along with the pregnancy. The doctor’s appointments are happening more and more, and we’re getting closer and closer to having a son, it’s only a matter of time. Guess we’ll have to be finishing up the nursery soon so he has a place to live!
Coming up at the end of the month, Tera and I will be heading up to Toledo to see the Rockets take on the Zips. I’m really looking forward to that! We always have a good time up there hanging out with the old UT gang, and I’m sure this time will be no different. It will be nice to get out and have a little fun since money has been really tight lately. Hopefully that will change soon if things that I’m told about work come to pass. I’m certainly not getting my hopes up though.
Long time, No speak!
October 4, 2006 on 1:29 pm | In General | No CommentsGosh, it’s been a while. Things have been so busy lately, so where do I start?
I’m married now, to start with, so you all you lucky ladies missed your chance
If you’d like to see pictures of my lovely wife Tera and I’s big day, you can find them here. It was a wonderful day and a wonderful ceremony. Everything really turned out better than either of us could imagine I think.
We’ve been getting ready for the baby more and more. I got the crib put together, and we got the first coat of pain on the walls in the nursery. The color was a little darker than we thought, so it’s probably going to take a second coat to fully cover the walls, but it looks great. Then we’ll just have to get the border up, get the changing table put together, and then we’re pretty much ready for our son to come home! I can’t wait, it’s so exciting!
We had Danny’s going away party at Benny’s in Marysville a few weeks ago, and it was quite a send off! There were a lot of people from work that showed up, and it was a really good time. He’s heading off on a church mission later this month, and will be gone for two straight years! While it’s not particularly the thing for me (I enjoy cussing, drinking, and many other things that you can’t do if you’re a full fledged bible beater), I wish him the best of luck. It should be an enlightening experience at the least.
I’ve recently registered on facebook.com. They opened up registration to everyone if you’re interested. I got registered as both a member of the Columbus, Ohio network, as well as the University of Toledo network as an alum.
I guess that pretty much catches us up with the last month’s activities. If I think of anything else, I’ll post back!
