I just started watching this podcast while I’m in LA, and this episode is hilarious. I could definitely see myself and Danny pulling something like this on Rod. Check it out!

Chris Daughtry & Elliott Yamin – Savin’ Me

I love this song by Nickelback, and I really think Chris and Elliott did a good job with it.

I created this picture tonight to demonstrate Logan County Commissioner David Knight’s treatment of the voters in regards to the Miami River Improvement Project. Enjoy!

Miami River Improvement Travesty

This letter was in today’s Bellefontaine Examiner. I couldn’t agree more with the feeling that it conveys. I will never understand how we can vote against an unfair tax leverage, and still have it imposed. I honestly hope that the City of Bellefontaine is able to file an injunction and possible a lawsuit against the Logan County Commissioners, as well as the 5 County Committee. I’ve never witnessed such disregard for a political office holder’s constituency.

Miami River Improvement Project ‘recall’

I am totally against the Miami River Improvement
Project. The issue was voted on by our county
commissioners and not approved by our voters.
The voters, after finding out about it, voted it down
by over 60 percent. Our commissioners then voted 2
to 1 to turn it down. The issue passed because
commissioners in other counties voted for it and will
pay only 20 percent of the cost. Logan County pays
80 percent. Such equality?
Years ago the cry of the Revolution was
“Taxation without representation is tyranny.” The
2008 cry should be “Taxation with representation is
also tyranny.”
Gentlemen! When I repair the sidewalk in front
of my house — do my neighbors on either side have
to pay? I think not. Do my neighbors who live
around the corner have to pay? I think not. Do my
friends who live eight miles out in the country pay?
I think not.
I am not going to pay this ridiculous river charge.
By law, you can charge me on my taxes. The only
way I will ever pay of my own volition is when I
look out my back window and see Noah building
“the second Ark.”
This is one of the greatest miscarriages of justice
in the history of Logan County. “Each time a man
stands up for his rights or fights to defend the rights
of others, a tiny ray of hope appears. I hope this ray
turns into a starburst. “Let’s go Logan County.”
John A. Jeffrey,
Former Logan County
Commissioner,
Bellefontaine

Life Changes

Well, for starters, we’re adding one more to the mix :D We found out a few weeks ago that we’re expecting a little girl to arrive in July. I’m super excited about that. Tera and I can’t wait to see what Kunze girl is like (since we’ve been all been boys for a few generations now).

I’ll be making my way to Los Angeles again in about two weeks. We have an evaluation out there for one of the projects I’m on at work, so that will be nice to head out there for a few days. It’s always nice to take the occasional business trip, it mixes things up a bit.

I’m also playing around with a couple of part-time projects. I’m not sure when they’ll materialize, but I’d say by this summer I should be getting them off the ground. More on that as it materializes :D

That’s really about it for now. Maybe more later if I can put my thought’s together.
